The truth is having a freelance writing career is very possible to do, and as long as you know where to look in order to get those jobs, you can easily make the money you need for the short term and even over the long-term.

Textbroker.com is similar to iWriter.com.  This is a long-standing (not a fly-by-night) freelance writing site that allows writers to earn income by choosing and taking on available projects  posted inside the author’s area.  When you register to write for Textbroker.com you are required to provide a sample.  Based upon this sample, you will be rated from two to five stars; with two being the lowest and five being the highest. Obviously, you make more the higher your rating so put your best foot forwared.

Yes you earn money from the comfort of your home.  In order to receive your payments, like iWriter.com you will need to have an active Paypal account.  Your payments will be made every week  once your outstanding balance is greater than $10.  As a writer for Textbroker.com you will be able to receive direct orders and be able to write articles for a wide range of topics.  Textbroker.com has immediate and friendly support that is ready to answer any questions that you may have and you are able to communicate directly with clients who choose to hire you for their project.

-WriteSwap.com

Similar to Fiverr.com but this is more focused on freelance writing gigs. It’s virtually a “marketplace” for writers. You post your article writing offers and your rates and buyers get in touch with you.

Jobs at ProBlogger is a site to get great freelance blogging jobs. On the site, people will personally leave a job within a certain time and date and hope to have a writer like you message them. Finding jobs on this site is esay to do, as navigating throughout the site is easy to accomplish. Remember that it does take time to land the best job possible.

-FreelanceWriting.com

Freelance Writing is an online website that has been giving advice and job opportunities to people like you to finally get started. They’ve been doing this since 1997, and their listings can help you land your first successful freelance writing contract.  So, you can easily find gigs that have just been posted in the past and even today. Just remember to have articles to show for those employers, as they would like to see your work.

Usually you’ll have to send these people some type of past work or old articles that you’ve written.  You can post your sample articles by creating Blog accounts at Blogger.com or WordPress.com

For the most part, when paying for an SEO article writing service what that can mean is they simply repeat your chosen keyword in the article several times

If you wish to go deeper then it’s time to analyze the content of  the sites currently ranking for your chosen keyword in the search engine results pages  (SERPS).  I use a SEO article writing software for keyword or theme extraction  called Keyword Theme Extractor, which basically scans the search engine results for your given keyword and tells you what keywords your competition is using  (you can call this reverse engineering if you want). When you consider latent semantic indexing algorithms by search engines, then choosing relevant keywords for your article makes using this tool valuable.  Easy.

It can be easy to get tied up with keywords and keyword analysis -  but don’t.

Remember you are writing for humans  so obviously keep the human interest high,  give that high importance in your SEO article and you’ll be glad you did.  Post Panda this is something you would really want to focus on.

If you are really are serious about SEO article writing, you can check out a tool by Michael Marshall called SEORecon – it is expen$$ive, mainly for those doing SEO for a living and generating reports to give their clients.  Just double check that Michael is still around to support you.  I got one of his keyword tools only to be left without any replies for support. We are still trying to get hold of him

If you are a WordPress user here’s a plugin that will help you optimise your posts quickly. We have used a variety of these tools like SEOPressor, Easy WP SEO and another called  SEO Power but  this is one of the simplest we have found. Called WP SEO Automation no bells and whistles.   Of course, you can do all these manually but for those looking for tools check this out.

Given that – what is the best article submitter software for these type of submissions?

Before we go there – let’s put things into perspective first:

that article submission should be part of your strategy and not the entire strategy, gone are the days when you can solely rely on article marketing submission to article directories to get your site moving in the the search engines

Update: Post Panda – you will most likely have to double if not triple your efforts on submission to article directories as this method has been quite discounted recently. Going forward, getting links from highly relevant and/or quality pages would be best to be included in your strategy (you can always check where the top SERPs pages are getting their links from).

When we hear stories about article submitter software or programs, there seems to be a common theme: they are all buggy and no one can seem to perfect a software for this task.

True. There is no submission software with a 100% sucsess rate.

Given that – there are few notable programs on the market that are worth it’s salt. We are not talking about programs like Magic Article Submitter or Incansoft’s Article bot. Sure these programs allow you to register to over 500 plus sites or whatever but the question lies in how many of your links stick or even do they actually get posted

Here’s one of the notables. Article Marketing Robot:  is a one off  fee (Vince – the creator has skipped the monthly fee for now) and it submits to tons of directories including Article Friendly, Article Dashboard, WordPress Articles, Articles MS and more.

Top level directories are included like EZA. You can submit to all or you can edit the ones you want to submit to. The program signs you up automatically to each directory you submit an article to.

It has spinner functionality (if you don’t have one). We all want unique articles (well as unique as possible anyway) when we submit articles.

What is great about this software is that it tells you the URLs that your links were located. You can log in after a few days to pull your live articles and if you so wish use various indexing methods to index those articles/blog posts.

Blog posts? – yes the program submits to WordPress Blogs that make use of article directory plugins.

Now, you can always say that Unique Article Wizard is the best article submission software. That is true – if you are willing to pay the monthly fee, otherwise you’re looking at Article Marketing Robot.

The problem is in that there are so many courses and tools out there on blogging.  Some are good, some are overpriced, some are just after your money and some leave you without any support.

I had a serious look at this program prior to the launch and checked out what other people had to say about this program as well.

Long story short, I went in and purchased it myself. Here’s what I found.

There is a great amount of information, step by step, clarity of instructions is good and better yet the quality of the material is excellent. Mike Johnson, the creator is very good in making auto-Wordpress blogs optimized for speed, performance and of course SEO’mized.

On some topics, you will probably need clarification but I guess that’s what the forum is for.

If you are a newbie, you would have to piece together your prior knowledge with new information and tools to come up with a strategy to build these type of blogs.

Will you find the information at AutoBlog blueprint somewhere else? – probably, but not in one place at least. The way the course integrates everything is great.

Keep in mind that this is “not” a software or a tool, it is what is says it is – a blueprint, a step by step plan. Also, there’s tools that are recommended to do your blog building faster.

For these type of blogs you would end up spending for at least an automatic blog post tool – the rest can be done manually but again that will make building your blog much much longer. So you’ll eventually invest in more than one tool if you are serious about putting some effort in this.  Be aware that there’s affiliate links in them tools being recommended.

Everything is laid out clearly and the quality on information given is great.  What I was after with this program is the plugins, tools and resources being used by Mike.  The downside I found is that there’s heaps of affiliate links in there for recommended tools. Oh well, that’s business I guess.  Autoblog Blueprint is now going on it’s third version, you can check this out at: AutoBlog Blueprint 3.0.  Overall a good course for automatic blogging (if this is what you are after).

Update:  Post-Panda, if you are after blogging for money I would recommend that you stick to something that would last.  Whilst a good AutoBlog may still be around in the top search engine result pages; the question would be how you would invest on your precious time to gain long term results.  In this, if you were to go blogging for money I would recommend to study blog curation.  If there was one course that I would advise to check out on this, it would be known copywriter Dr. Harlan Kilstein’s blog curation course.  You can find out more about his program here:  Blogging for Profits – Blog Curation.
